What is this whitepaper about?
The whitepaper describes four core functions of the software: Generate, Engineer, Validate and Synchronise. It highlights how this solution improves the efficiency and quality of HVAC design processes, reduces failure costs and streamlines collaboration between the professionals involved.
The digital bridge - bring HVAC and BIM together
Today, there is limited digital collaboration between HVAC engineers and BIM modellers. While the former focus on hydraulic calculations and system performance, the latter focus on spatial aspects and installation design in buildings. This often leads to issues affecting system quality, design time and costs.
In this whitepaper, we discuss these challenges and present the Hysopt BIM Syncer, which integrates calculation and drawing work. We also highlight some key features of this innovative software. Stay ahead in HVAC engineering and BIM modelling.
Seamless Validation and Synchronisation with Hysopt BIM Syncer
Once the entire P&ID has been correctly hydraulically calculated, any changes can be fed back into the BIM model. This is done first of all through validation. At the click of a button, the Hysopt BIM Syncer checks both models to see where there are any irregularities. Suppose the calculations have shown that the pipes need to be changed in diameter, the validation report will indicate what needs to be changed and where.
Afterwards, the synchronisation feature can be used, which means that all proposed changes are integrally forwarded to the BIM model. No more hassle with adjusting everything manually, and therefore no more risk of errors in doing so.
